The English Verification process consists of four steps:
1) APPLY TO GET VERIFIED:
To Apply to get Verified, you need to click on the button at the top of your Profile page called “Start your English Verification”.
Once you click on the button, a pop-up will appear requesting you to confirm that you are in the “IT and Design” area. After you confirm, another pop-up with the final instructions will appear.
Pay attention to the instructions and click on the button that will appear on the screen. You will be taken to a page to schedule your Verification.
Once you access this page, your profile will show the button “English Verification in Progress” until the English Verification process is over.
2) STUDY AND GET PREPARED
Once you schedule your English Verification, you will receive an invite. In the invite you will find a link to the English Verification page with the contents you will be discussing during the Verification.
Read, listen, and watch all the contents and pay attention to the questions.
3) THE VERIFICATION
The Verification is a call via Skype that should take only 15 minutes. You will talk about the contents presented in the English Verification page as well as other subjects if the consultant finds them useful to evaluate your English level.
4) PROFILE UPDATE
This is the final step in which VanHack updates your profile based on the feedback received from a specialized English Verification consultancy.
This process can take from 2 to 5 business days.
- Use the same email registered in your VanHack Profile when scheduling the Verification.
- Make sure you have Skype installed and properly working.
- You can reply to the event in your calendar to get in touch with the consultant if something goes wrong. Do not use Slack.
- If you need to cancel, use the reschedule link in the invite or the cancel link.
